Cahoots - Who?
That's us, in a nutshell, conspiring in secret to bring music back to the masses in local pubs and clubs.....LIVE!
Formed in 2008, we are a 4-piece band that play Rhythm and Blues.....and Beyond! We were formed out of a church worship band in Rugby. A friend asked if we could form a band to play for a birthday party; enter stage left... Cahoots.
After performing mainly covers at private functions, Cahoots went underground to work on our own material and have finally started playing in pubs around Rugby. As Cahoots we have our own style with influences from such artists as Dr Feelgood, The Kinks, Ian Dury, The Jam and Primal Scream, as well as all things Blues and Soul.
The name 'Cahoots' was inspired by an album by 'The Band', produced by "the great" (quote from Simon) Allen Toussaint.
